Our Program

"Education is the most powerful weapon which   you can use to change the world". Nelson Mandela
Our Classroom

We offer stimulating, developmental activities when your child is ready for them. They include music, movement and outdoor play. In addition, we will provide practical life and sensory activities, arts and crafts, pre-reading and pre-math skills. We also have quiet story and sharing times, manipulatives, dramatic play and lots of laughter. At CATerpillar Clubhouse we strive to meet your child’s physical, intellectual, social, and emotional needs. Children learn best in a loving, organized, natural learning environment. Your child will learn important values such as patience, sharing, responsibility, compassion for self and others, communication and teamwork. They will also learn the basics of education such as recognizing his/her alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes, name and how to paint, play with dough, cut with scissors, color with crayons, and the beginning stages of reading and writing.

Meals

Our Program offers healthy and nutritious meals to our children. We offer morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack every day.

Our Curriculum

We employ a play-based, child-centered approach to early childhood education. Our curriculum is a dynamic, interactive experience that builds on the interests of young children and influences them in developmentally appropriate ways. It addresses the physical, socio-emotional, cognitive, language/communication, and self-help skills of children. Anything and everything that happens during the day, planned or unplanned, is a part of our curriculum. Our plan is to motivate learning and be responsive to our children.

Preschoolers need an environment that encourages and accepts the student’s autonomy, interests, and initiative. CATerpillar Clubhouse understands that we must address the development of the whole child in these early years of life.
